Synth-Action Keys and Expressive Controls

The 49 synth-action keys deliver velocity-sensitive response with a light, fast feel designed for synth programming, melodic lines and chord performance. The redesigned keybed improves consistency across all keys compared to the previous Impact LX generation. Pitch bend and modulation wheels are on the left for natural real-time expression.

Faders, Pads and Encoders

Eight 30 mm faders provide immediate hands-on access to DAW mixer channels, send levels, plugin parameters or any assignable MIDI CC. Eight velocity-sensitive pads with 8 selectable pad maps cover beat programming, chromatic playing and sample triggering. Nine full-resolution encoders — including a large master encoder — handle precise parameter control, while four-color LED buttons add clear visual feedback across modes.

Scale, Chord and Hold

Scale mode restricts note output to any chosen musical scale for in-key performance without music theory knowledge. Chord mode triggers full chords with a single key, and Hold mode sustains notes hands-free — tools that expand what's possible in both studio composition and live performance.

DAW Integration and NKS

Deep Nektar DAW integration provides automatic bidirectional control of track selection, transport and plugin parameters across all major DAWs — Logic, Ableton, Cubase, Studio One, Pro Tools and more — with zero manual MIDI mapping. Full NI NKS compatibility gives seamless control of NI Komplete instruments and all NKS-ready plugins.

Connectivity
