The MusicNomad MN312 HONE is a patented humidity and temperature monitor purpose-built for stringed instruments. It clips directly onto acoustic or electric guitar strings, sitting inside the case where it reads the air around the body. The sensor refreshes every 20 seconds on the LCD, with max/min tracking and a built-in reminder of the 40–55% safe zone manufacturers recommend.

Why Players Use It

Low humidity cracks tops and sharpens fret ends; high humidity swells necks and lifts bridges. HONE shows which way conditions are drifting so the player knows whether to humidify, dehumidify, or leave the guitar alone.
